Exergen transducers are usually custom-made (with temperature compensation) for a measuring point, e.g. 73 ° C deliver a very precise thermal voltage (mV) at the output depending on the temperature at 73 ° C.
In order to be able to use the thermal voltage emitted by Exergen transducers in systems, however,
evaluation electronics are required. The evaluation electronics offered on the market today only offer the possibility of one
to evaluate the pre-calibrated measuring point - i.e. to convert the (mV) thermal voltage into a 4-20mA output. The problem with this is when
outside of the one measuring point (73 ° C) has to be measured, this is not possible.
Why Autosmart?
Autosmart makes it possible to measure not only at a single measuring point, but at any measuring point and even more precisely than so far. The IR Autosmart not only contains the complete evaluation electronics of a transmitter, but it is also possible to control it calibrate. This is made possible by the sophisticated electronics in connection with our calibration software IR Optical. The IR Autosmart In connection with an Exergen transducer it becomes a fully automatically calibratable and parameterizable high-precision IR transmitter with 4… 20mA, 0… 10V and many other outputs.

Our data acquisition software Sentax and the embedded software are supplied free of charge with every sensor purchased. Sentax includes a data logger, line recorder, parameterization software. Even forwarding to Excel is possible. The sensors can be easily integrated into Linux or other systems.
This new USB infrared sensor can be combined with various sensors. This can then be calibrated and parameterized with the Sentax software supplied free of charge. The integrated data logger in Sentax then allows the measurements to be recorded and evaluated.
