The Thermostick is a USB measuring system for the evaluation of thermocouples. For the recording of the thermocouples a miniature socket is integrated in the Thermostick. The Sentax data acquisition software included in the delivery supports IR sensors with thermocouple outputs. The software also includes a tool for calibrating the IR sensors. Particular emphasis was placed on the simplest operation. The temperature measuring ranges depend on the respective IR sensors and are freely adjustable. The scale automatically adapts to the respective sensor.
Sentax also has a long-term datalogger and line recorder. With just one click, the recorded data is transferred to Excel or as a graphic via the clipboard to Word.
 
If the measurement data are required in LabView, for example, this is possible with the dll supplied. The measurement data can also be read out directly from the USB stick, which means that they can also be transmitted to other systems without a dll.
 
The data acquisition software will be supplemented with the following functions in the future: Alarm system for sending e-mail, SMS or voice messages when limit values ​​are exceeded.
 
In addition to the thermostick, Sentax also supports many other sensors. With an ADC stick newly developed by Meltec, all analog sensors can be operated and evaluated.
